Medicare

After a required hospital admission of 3 nights occurring in the last 30 days, Medicare will cover 100% of the sub-acute cost for the first 20 days with the remaining 80 days at 80% with a co-pay of $167.50 per day provided the resident meets the clinical criteria as defined by Medicare.

Medigap or Medicare Supplemental Insurance

Medigap covers sub-acute charges not covered by Medicare. For example, if a resident requires a stay longer than the 21st day, Medigap may pay for this length of stay extension. Our Business office will be happy to assist you in verifying coverage with your Medigap insurance company.

Medicare Advantage

Medicare Advantage requires a pre-admission authorization from the insurance company. Our Admission’s Office will work with the hospital discharge planner to obtain the authorization.

Self-Pay

Sub-acute and long-term care may be supported by the residents’ own financial resources. Please contact our Admission’s Office so we can thoroughly discuss our pricing and private and semi-private room rates.

Medicaid

ANRC accepts Medicaid for long-term care residents. As a state-funded long-term care program, if the resident is not yet receiving Medicaid benefits then they must apply for assistance by contacting the Bergen County Department of Social Services at 201-368-4200.

HMO and Managed Care Plans

ANRC participates in all HMO and managed care plans. Prior to admission, please contact our Admission’s Office so we can verify benefits with your insurance company and receive a pre-authorization.

Long-Term Care Insurance

Long-term care insurance plans may pay for a portion of sub-acute or long-term care services. Please verify coverage and deductibles with your long-term care insurance company.

Other Insurance Plans

ANRC participates in most Worker’s Compensation, Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) and commercial insurance plans. All information must be verified prior to admission and our Admission’s Office will assist you in any way we can.
