Mariafe “Faye” Yu

“The flame that keeps on burning”
Faye is a firecracker. Her infectious smile and musical laughter spread like wildfire as she makes her rounds bringing happiness to those who least expect it. A member and Certified Assessment Nurse Coordinator through the American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordination (AANAC), she joined our Home in 1992 and stayed to gift us with her brilliance and experience for more than 25 years.

In her role as MDS Coordinator, she completes and manages in-depth assessments of all Medicare/Medicaid residents. By completing the assessments carefully and on a timely basis, she guarantees we will receive the highest resource utilization group (RUG) reimbursement rate so we can continue to provide optimal care.

After graduating from Velez College of Nursing in the Philippines with a Bachelors’ Degree in Nursing, Faye worked at several hospitals and LTC facilities before finding her home at ANRC.
A team player who is known to work well with others, she has the ability to stay calm under duress and bring the warmth of her presence to all those around her.
